So today we passed 1000 miles travelled on our trip. It has been an adventure and we have reached our last blog. If you have enjoyed reading them and fancy telling us it would be much appreciated.
A few people have been in touch to check that the moths in Andy’s wallet were ok after his tumble out of the van yesterday. We are hoping they are, and when his wallet next makes an appearance we can confirm this.
The day started with a great breakfast of crumpets. Ernie looked on hopefully as we enjoyed our food. He was disappointed as nobody wanted to share with him.

We packed the van up and said goodbye to Helen and Andy. As always we have had a fun time. We were heading south towards England. We have loved our time in Scotland and will hopefully return soon. It was a decent journey and soon we were crossing the Forth bridge.

We crossed the border into England and headed towards our stop in Northumberland. We are staying at an organic farm with lovely views to the coast and Bamburgh Castle. After a spot of lunch we headed down to Bamburgh. We are not used to such busy beaches.

After a lovely play on the beach we had a wander round the village. There is a highly regarded butchers in Bamburgh so we made a purchase. Ernie was desperate to go in

We then went into a pub. Who knew you could get hot chocolate in a pub….. they had some nice looking beers but (a) I was driving and (b) hot chocolate is lovely (though not as good as Cocoa Mountain)

After another wander we headed back to the campsite to write the last blog of this adventure. It has been such good fun. We hope your enjoyed reading about it. The NC500 is amazing, if you get a chance to visit do so!
